Guided Tour

What are the challenges of globalization for crisis management at international companies? How can subsidiaries of international companies effectively protect themselves from the risks that arise from U.S. liability laws? Why is negative stakeholder activity on the Internet a serious and growing problem? Crisisnavigator provides answers to these and other questions.

www.crisisnavigator.org was launched in August 2000 as an international Internet guide to crisis management, crisis communications, issues management, risk management, disaster management and business continuity management. A researcher from the Crisisnavigator - Institute for Crisis Research, Kiel, Germany functions as editor of the web site and ensures credibility and neutrality of the provided information.

With Crisisnavigator the publishers intend to help prevent devastating corporate crises, which often have a global impact. Through partnerships with reputable consulting firms, international business media, and partner universities around the world, the editors gain valuable advice from the international scientific community and become aware of new trends in the corporate world.

Crisisnavigator is the international sister site of the German Internet portal Krisennavigator. Since November of 1998 www.krisennavigator.de offers comprehensive information on crisis management, crisis diagnosis, crisis communications, risk management, and disaster management. The site quickly established itself as a leading resource for German and European professionals seeking reliable information and advice in dealing with critical events.

Similar to the German site, Crisisnavigator is designed as an open Internet portal.
