Ignasi B. Vendrell

Ignasi B. Vendrell is a Managing Partner of Best Relations, S.A., a technology public relations firm based in Madrid, Spain. Vendrell has corporate communications and marketing communications experience in the areas of telecommunications, computing, electronics, interactive solutions, entertainment, durable and non durable consumer goods, banking, non-profit, and government.
Prior to creating Best Relations, S.A., and during three years, Ignasi served as a Technology Division Director to Edelman Public Relations Worldwide in Madrid, Spain. He supervised crisis and issues management, product publicity, special events, corporate phylanthropy, indirect lobbying and media relations strategies.

During his four-year stay in the United States, Ignasi worked at the tech public relations firm Duval & Partners in Boston. After, he served for one year as a Communication Manager at the Spanish Repertory Theatre, Ltd. in New York. Prior to joining Edelman and during two years, Ignasi was an account supervisor at the Hispanic firm, VPE Public Relations in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Over the past six years, Ignasi worked in the Parliament House of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain, as the executive of the Public Relations, Protocol and Information/Media Department. He holds a Master Science in Public Relations from Boston University, USA, and graduated in public relations from Barcelona University, Spain.

Ignasi Vendrell published articles in the Public Relations Journal, in the International Public Relations Review, in the Communications World, in the Interactive Public Relations, and in the Public Relations Quarterly. He has also authored the book 'Protocol in the European Union Institutions', which was published by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and honored with the Spanish National Award of Protocol "Marqués de Mondéjar".
