Romeo P. Virtusio

Romeo P. Virtusio, born 1940, is President of Virtusio Public Relations, Inc. (vpri), based in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. He has more than 35 years of experience in public relations and worked for J. Walter Thompson and Lexington International Public Relations, Inc. - former Hill & Knowlton affiliate in the Philippines.

In 1989 Virtusio founded vpri. His company provides services in crisis and marketing communications, public, media, investor and financial relations for domestic and multinational corporations within the Philippines. vpri won Anvil Awards for its work on Australian Trade Commission, Unilever and Bayer accounts. Context Communications International, Inc., vpri's subsidiary company, deals with special events and editorial services.

Virtusio studied Liberal Arts at the University of the Philippines and has scholarships in Creative Writing from the Ateneo de Manila University and the Silliman University (all in the Philippines). In addition to that, he published the first PR journal in the Philippines. Virtusio is married and has two children.
